| BD is like a brother to me...no wait, it goes deeper than that. It reminds me of a story when I used to live in Denver and Dave had decided he was going to buy Tina an engagement ring. We went to the Cherry Creek mall, where Tina happened to work at Saks Fifth Ave. We stopped into to see her and Dave made a point of making farting noises everytime he was around a mannequin. Then we popped over to the Jewelry store. We went in and started to discuss the rings. Dave picked up a ring and I said "Ew, I don't like that!". He said, "Girl, I don't CARE what you like". The Sales lady heard our conversation because like always, we were making a scene. She comes up to Dave and says, "Sir, I DO think it matters what she thinks, don't you?" Dave said, "Lady, did you think this was my girlfriend? No, it's my SISTER!" Dave and I both started laughing. The Sales Lady just looked at Dave and said laughingly, "Oh, I'm sorry. Now I can see the family resemblance". And so, the story ends..... |
